OCTOBER 2003

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the winter season time trial points trophies: Emily Coles, Tristan Richards, Chelsea Sanders, Jemma Hawkins and Matt Couanis.

CONGRATULATIONS to Jolene MacKay for excellent attendance at training during the winter season. Jolene attended 60 sessions even with time off because of injury and illness. (Does not include Marlin Squad)

REGISTRATIONS now due for the summer season.

COUNTRY PENNANTS Expressions of interest will be called for in the very near future as the club has to nominate during November.

COACHING Anyone interested in helping with the coaching please contact Pat Richards.

When: Sunday 30^th November 2003
Cost: $15
Minimum Requirements: Aged 8 years and over (See attachment or noticeboard)

Closing Date: Friday, 31^st October 2003

PROPOSED OFFICIALS' TRAINING COURSES
Details of proposed courses are available on the WA Swimming site and the person to contact is Lesley Arrowsmith. Sorry the closing date for expressions of interest for the next course is today (to be held this coming weekend), however you might like to consider attending future courses proposed for the New Year. The club needs people to qualify as officials' for example, starter, clerk of the course, recorder, check starter and timekeeper. Courses in these will also be conducted at the WA Swimming office on 7^th and 8^th February 2004 and expressions of interest for these will close on 4^th February 2004. There is no cost involved for participants.
