At the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Mandurah Swimming Club it was moved that a new sub-committee should be established. This committee will have the sole purpose of lobbying local government, local councillors, involved government departments, local business, politicians and industry in a protracted effort to establish a 50 meter indoor swimming facility within close proximity of the City of Mandurah and within a time frame of 5 years.
The AGM unanimously agreed this motion, with widespread support for the new committee indicated from the floor.
