Field Regiment 28 July 1941-14 January 1946. 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with Eighth Army Clasp, Pacific Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, Australia Service Medal, Efficiency Medal and First Clasp. Returned from Active Service Badge. Interim Army VX700222 Full Time C.M.F. 12 October 1951 - 5 October 1952 Regular Army - Warrant Officer Class 1. VX60259 Laurance John Dibble saw service in the Middle East from 1/11/1941 to 26/2/1943 and on his return to Australia he was posted to Borneo on 6/5/1945.
VX700222 Re-enlisted after WW2 to full time military service - retired WO1 (acting CPT. QM) 25 May 1971. Australian Regular Army 6 October 1952 - 25 May 1971.
